Why are these 2 verses Important:
• They affirm strong faith in Allah, His angels, His books, and His messengers
• They teach obedience and submission to Allah’s commands
• They remind us that Allah does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear
• They include a powerful duʿāʾ (supplication) asking Allah for forgiveness, mercy, and
help
• They offer comfort and reassurance during hardship
• They emphasize personal responsibility and accountability
• They ask Allah for protection from mistakes and weakness
• The Prophet ﷺ taught that reciting them at night is sufficient for protection and
reward
Surah Al-iklas
ﺑ ِﺴْﻢ ِ ﱣ ِ اﻟﺮﱠﺣْﻤٰﻦِ اﻟﺮﱠﺣِ ﯿْﻢ ِ .
ﻗ ُﻞْ ھُﻮ َ ﱣ ُ أ َﺣَﺪٌ
، َ ﱣ ُ اﻟﺼﱠﻤَ ﺪُ ، ﻟ َﻢْ ﯾَﻠِﺪْ و َ ﻟ َﻢْ ﯾُﻮ ْ ﻟ َﺪْ ، و َ ﻟ َﻢْ ﯾَﻜُﻦْ ﻟ ﱠ ﮫُ ﻛُﻔُﻮً ا أ َﺣَﺪ
Surah Al falqa
ﺑ ِﺴْﻢ ِ ﱣ ِ اﻟﺮﱠﺣْﻤٰﻦِ اﻟﺮﱠﺣِ ﯿْﻢ ِ .
ﻗ ُﻞْ أ َﻋُﻮ ْ ذُ ﺑ ِﺮَبّ ِ اﻟ ْ ﻔَﻠ َﻖِ ، ﻣِﻦْ ﺷَﺮّ ِ ﻣَ ﺎ ﺧَﻠ َﻖَ ، و َ ﻣِﻦْ ﺷَﺮّ ِ ﻏَﺎﺳِﻖٍ إ ِ ذَا و َ ﻗَﺐَ ،
و َ ﻣِﻦْ ﺷَﺮّ ِ اﻟﻨﱠﻔﱠ ﺎﺛ َ ﺎتِ ﻓِﻲ اﻟ ْ ﻌُﻘَﺪِ ، و َ ﻣِﻦْ ﺷَﺮّ ِ ﺣَ ﺎﺳِﺪٍ إ ِ ذَا ﺣَﺴَﺪَ
Surah Al naas
ﺑ ِﺴْﻢ ِ ﱣ ِ اﻟﺮﱠﺣْﻤٰﻦِ اﻟﺮﱠﺣِ ﯿْﻢ ِ .
ﻗ ُﻞْ أ َﻋُﻮ ْ ذُ ﺑ ِﺮَبّ ِ اﻟﻨﱠﺎس ِ ، ﻣَ ﻠِﻚِ اﻟﻨﱠﺎس ِ ، إ ِ ﻟ ٰ ﮫِ اﻟﻨﱠﺎس ِ ، ﻣِﻦْ ﺷَﺮّ ِ اﻟ ْﻮ َﺳْﻮ َ اس ِ
اﻟ ْﺨَﻨﱠﺎس ِ ، اَﻟ ﱠ ﺬِيْ ﯾُﻮ َﺳْﻮِسُ ﻓِﻲْ ﺻُﺪُو ْر ِ اﻟﻨﱠﺎس ِ ، ﻣِﻦَ اﻟ ْﺠِ ﻨﱠﺔِ و َ اﻟﻨﱠﺎس
