Salām Means Peace

As-salāmu ʿalaykum.

Salām means peace.

We greet with peace.

When we say salām:

We begin with peace.

We make others feel safe.

Practice

Say:
As-salāmu ʿalaykum

Wave or smile.

Calm Practice

Show safe hands.

Show safe feet.

Put your hands on your heart.

Take a slow breath.

Say:
I am safe here.

Reminder

Allah is As-Salām.

Allah gives peace.
