Fatimah was playing when she saw that her little brother had dropped his toy. He looked sad.
Fatimah picked it up and gave it back to him.
Her brother smiled.
Their father saw what happened and said, “That was kind.”
Fatimah smiled.
Then her father said, “Allah loves goodness.”
Fatimah looked up. “Goodness?”
“Yes,” he said. “When we are kind, helpful, gentle, and good, Allah loves that.”
Fatimah thought about what she had done. She had helped her brother. That was something good.
She smiled again and said, “Allah loves goodness.”
Later that day, she shared a snack, used gentle words, and helped clean up her toys.
Each time, she remembered the same beautiful sentence:
