Dua Before Entering the Bathroom

Arabic

بِسْمِ الله، اللّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ

Transliteration

Bismillah. Allahumma inni a’udhu bika minal-khubuthi wal-khaba’ith.

Meaning

“In the name of Allah. O Allah, I seek Your protection from evil and harmful things.”

Easy Meaning for Children

“O Allah, please protect me from anything bad.”

Before entering the bathroom, we remember Allah.

We ask Allah to protect us from anything harmful.

Ahmed’s Good Habit

Ahmed needs to use the bathroom.

Before he enters, he stops at the door and says:

“Bismillah. Allahumma inni a’udhu bika minal-khubuthi wal-khaba’ith.”

Ahmed knows that Allah always protects those who remember Him.
