Story

Ahmad finished drinking his milk. He put down his cup and smiled.

His father asked, “Was it good?”

Ahmad nodded. “Yes.”

Then his father said, “Who gave you the milk?”

Ahmad thought quietly.

His father smiled and said, “Allah gave it to you.”

Ahmad looked at his cup again.

“When Allah gives us blessings,” his father said, “we say, ‘Alhamdulillah.’”

Ahmad repeated the words carefully: “Alhamdulillah.”

His father smiled. “Very good.”

Later, Ahmad found his shoes, played with his toy, and ate a sweet date. Each time, he remembered that good things are blessings from Allah.

By the end of the day, Ahmad said it again with a happy face: “Alhamdulillah.”
