Before Wudu

Arabic

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ

Transliteration

Bismillah

Meaning

“In the name of Allah.”

Easy Meaning for Children

“I begin my wudu by remembering Allah.”

After Wudu

Arabic

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ

Transliteration

Ashhadu an la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasuluh.

Meaning

“I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.”

Arabic

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ التَّوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ

Transliteration

Allahumma aj’alni minat-tawwabin, waj’alni minal-mutatahhirin.

Meaning

“O Allah, make me among those who repent and those who keep themselves clean.”

Arabic

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ

Transliteration

Subhanak Allahumma wa bihamdik, ashhadu an la ilaha illa ant, astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk.

Meaning

“Glory and praise be to You, O Allah. I bear witness that there is no god except You. I ask Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.”

⭐ What Do We Learn?

Wudu makes our body clean.

Remembering Allah makes our hearts clean.

Before and after wudu, we say these beautiful duas.

Amina’s Wudu

Amina says “Bismillah” before making wudu.

When she finishes, she says the duas after wudu.

She feels happy because she followed the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Sunnahs of Wudu

✅ Say Bismillah before starting.

✅ Wash each part carefully.

✅ Do not waste water.
