Story
One morning, Maryam went outside with her teacher. The air felt fresh. The light was soft. Maryam looked up.
She saw the big blue sky above her.
“It is so big,” she said.
Her teacher smiled and asked, “Who made the sky?”
Maryam looked up again.
“The sky is high,” her teacher said. “It is wide and beautiful. Allah made the sky.”
Maryam kept looking. She saw white clouds floating slowly. She saw birds flying. She felt small, but happy.
“Allah made the sky,” she repeated softly.
Her teacher nodded. “Yes. When we see something beautiful that Allah made, we can say, ‘SubhanAllah.’”
Maryam smiled and said, “SubhanAllah.”
She looked up one more time. The sky was still wide and still beautiful.
Then she whispered, “Allah made the sky.”
